The next step...

I have been scrapbooking for several years (my husband actually got me started) but it wasn't until the last couple of years that I have truly become a scrapbooker.  Two years ago we moved to Minnesota and bought a house with a laundry/craft room.  Wow, did that make all the difference.  Having a space set aside specifically to create coupled with attending my first Scrapfest and living near an Archivers store has made me a bonafide scrapper.  So it seems that the next step is creating a scrapping blog to share my creations with anyone who will listen and look.  I figured I'd start by adding a few pictures of some of my work so that you can get a sense of who I am and my scrapbooking style.  So here goes...

This is my family, although it isn't a very recent shot.  I don't have too many pages with pictures of me which is something I need to remedy.

A couple of Halloween layouts.  This golfer costume is the cutest thing ever and I wish my son could wear it every year.  He of course has other ideas, not to mention the fact that he has grown several inches since these photos were taken.

Here are two different layouts using the same sketch.

A sweet baby layout.  Aww... the memories!  Could it possibly be almost five years ago?

Here are a couple of two page layouts.

And last but not least...

Hopefully these pages offer a quick introduction to me and my style.  I am looking forward to getting to know more of you through this blog and sharing my passion for this "hobby" with anyone and everyone!

  2. Seriously!! These pages are so beautiful! You obviously enjoy what you're doing and have the patience to do it! Awesome! I pulled out the book you did for Emily the other day, and I was so happy that I had SOMETHING to show for her life so far. It was an amazing gift. Thanks!
